Welcome to Pickering Tennis Inc. Our head coach is Dave Ochotta and we have been operating for over 30 years in Pickering, Ontario — just east of Toronto. Our base is located indoors at the Chestnut Hill Developments Recreation Complex in Pickering. Our main objective is to provide programs and activities to enhance the indoor tennis experience of participants all year round. We also operate in several outdoor clubs, seasonally.
Our programs are geared for all levels of play. We offer beginner lessons for children or adults who want to try tennis for the first time. Intermediates can improve their skills through a combination of lessons, leagues and/or cardio tennis classes. Students from Pickering Tennis Inc have earned numerous tennis scholarships during the past 30 years. Six of our academy alumni have advanced in their careers to win ATP professional points. Our top alumni player, Adil Shamasdin, has won several ATP Tour events, has been a member of Canada’s Davis Cup Team, and has reached a career high ATP doubles ranking of #41 in the world.
