The year’s program integrates TDC league play, Inter-county team play, Sunday afternoon league and OTA tournaments for the 2026-2027 training season.
Academy dates: September 9, 2025 to June 19, 2026. Tuesdays and Fridays, combining on-court and off-court training.
Program coaches help to keep the on court coach/student ratio at 1:4 during the training season. The 41-week period includes 36 weeks of training.
All applications should be forwarded to Dave Ochotta, Pickering Tennis Inc Director. Acceptance is subject to fulfillment of the following: i) the earliest completed application and waiver forms, including a down-payment and post-dated cheques, and ii) evaluation based upon: skills, attitude, potential, past performance, overall fit with program values and program placement availability.
Players and parents will sign an acceptance form with the stated rules before the first training session, signifying agreement and adherence to the rules and regulations. Pickering Tennis Inc operates independently of the City of Pickering.
