The year's program integrates again a competitive trip to Florida (being planned for Dec. 2018), as well as the TDC league play, Inter-county team play, Sunday afternoon league, the club tournament and OTA Team tournaments for the 2018-2019 training season.
Academy dates: September 10, 2018 to June 6, 2019. Mondays, Wednesdays and Thursdays.
5:00-7:00 on-court training
Program coaches help to keep the on court coach/student ratio at 1:4 during the training season. The 39-week period includes 36 weeks of training.
Holidays: Christmas (Dec. 21 - Jan. 6), March Break (~Mar. 8-17), Thanksgiving (Oct. 8),
Family Day (Feb. 18), Easter Monday (Apr. 22) and Victoria Day (May 20)
All applications should be forwarded to Dave Ochotta, Pickering Tennis Academy Director. Acceptance is subject to fulfillment of the following: i) the earliest completed application and waiver forms, including a $495 down-payment and post-dated cheques, and ii) evaluation based upon: skills, attitude, potential, past performance, overall fit with program values and program placement availability.
Please read all rules and regulations before starting training, they could hinder or help you to succeed in the program. No player will begin training until all registrations are paid in full. Players and parents will sign and acceptance form with the stated rules before the first training session, signifying agreement and adherence to the rules and regulations. The Pickering Tennis Academy operates independently of the City of Pickering.
A $495 down-payment is to be included with the academy application. The remaining balance may be paid in 4 equal instalments made through post-dated cheques presented at the time of registration.
